National Master Lior Lapid at Chess Fest!
BIG NEWS! National Master Lior Lapid will be at Chess Fest this year! He will be available to go over the games of Chess Fest players during the tournament and offer comments and suggestions on how to improve. Lior is generous to provide his expertise at Chess Fest for FREE. He is one of the strongest players and chess coaches in the state of New Mexico. Lior is a full-time chess coach, 2008 and 2009 New Mexico state champion, and winner of the 2011 Southern Rocky FIDE Open. Chess Fest players are encouraged to show Lior any of their Chess Fest games and learn from Lior's insight. Thank you Lior!

13th Annual Chess Fest - Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010
Chess Fest 2010 a great success!
We had 95 players in six sections at the 2010 Chess Fest. We also had 41 teams compete in the bughouse tournament. Thank you to everyone who played!
Results are posted, and we have a Lost and Found section in case you lost something.
Thanks to the scholastic players, parents, coaches, and volunteers who have made Chess Fest a successful ongoing event.
